The game goes out of sync because of latency between the two players. So I installed AoK and AoC and they load fine, but when I try to play a game the color is off and there is a black box around the cursor, colored boxes around the scores, and all the movements of the mouse and the characters are really jerky. If you are playing locally, try playing on a lan network if not then try playing on Voobly.
The game seems to lag, note F11 and GTX both indicate 60fps solid performance. 1) Run Age of Empires III: Definitive Edition. In the new DE, is the multiplayer "lag" fixed? I have put countless hours into aoe3 over the years, and was super excited about the definitive edition getting released.
